All About Us...

Welcome to The Straight Path homeschool blog,  my name is Trisha, I am a mother of 2 little beans, a 5 yr old and a soon to be 2yr old. I am a secondary school teacher by profession but left work due to illness and a sincere desire to home school my 2 beautiful children.

My husband and I decided to home school our children because we felt we could offer a more holistic schooling experience and tailor their education. This is our blog of the ups and downs of homeschooling.

2014 

Update we are now in our third year of home educating and we absolutley love it.  We have moved away from a purely Montessori curriculum and are more Charlotte Mason, with  Montessori maths and some Geography.

2016

My children are now 8 and 5 and we have been homeschooling 3 yrs, I cannot believe it. In that time we have moved to the wonderful city of Birmingham and our homeschooling has evolved and settled into a pattern that works for us. We now use more of a Classical Education approach.
